External keyboard KEYB485/VE

Power supply (1) : 24 Vdc 6 10%

Data Input (2) : signal from DPS. Connect K5 and K6 of the external keyboard respectively with the pin 5 and 6 of RS232 of the DPS.

Selector S1 (3) : In ON allow the KEYB485/VE to function as a keyboard (max 1). In  OFF (in case of more KEYB485/VE) it function just as a repeater.

 More repeater : The  DPS can drive up to 8 repeaters.Only 1 of them could work as keyboard (S1=ON) instead the other work as repeaters (S1=OFF).  In case there must be more than a repeater with the selector S1=ON or it must be missing the feeding (24Vdc) the system doesn't work.

Warning : If the repeater doesn't show the state of the DPS remove tension such as on DPS as on the repeater and restore power first to the repeater and subsequently to the DPS.
